RE: Burns and insect bites
I've had an aloe vera plant in my kitchen forever. I learned it from my mother who used her aloe vera plantin her kitchen often when we were kids for bee stings and burns. It works really well and it's a lot cheaper than buying something from the store.

Alo vera is an amazing gift, a tropical plant which is a natural cosmetic. It stores water in a form of jelly in leaves and stem. It can be used as an eye soother, an imoliant and is particularly good to moisturize dry, brittle skin.

Aloe vera is helpful for frostbite, burns, insect bites, blisters and allergic reactions. Apply aloe vera gel paste to the burn when it has cooled down sufficiently. Aloe vera gel has analgesic properties that can help with the pain of the burn.
